Sterling Silver and Stainless Steel are both Alloy Metal but they have different properties and appearances.

Sterling silver is more elegant, malleable, lightweight, and shiny, but it may tarnish and corrode over time.

      Sterling Silver Care Instructions:

92.5% Silver tarnishes due to oxygen and sulfur.

Store in a cool, dry place.  Store with silica packs or even a piece of chalk to draw out any moisture to help prevent tarnishing.

Stainless Steel is more durable, strong, scratch-resistant, and impervious to corrosion and tarnishing, but it has a duller and darker silver color.

      Stainless Steel Care Instructions:

Stainless Steel is usually resistant to rusting or tarnishing but scratching and dust can make it become dull over time.

To polish you can use a lint free microfibre cloth.  If more cleaning is required try warm water, dish liquid and a soft bristled toothbrush.

Alloy is usually 70% Copper and 30% Zinc. But may also have Nickel so is not recommended for people with sensitive ears.

      Zinc Alloy Care Instructions:

Avoid storing your jewellery in wet areas, they should be stored in airtight containers.

To clean, you can use a non gel toothpaste or lemon juice and baking soda.
